Three Studies on Water Privatization

Privatisation is a very complicated and relevant topic today, especially given the state of the world economy and bankrupting governments.  One hot issue that is WATER.  Water is considered a public good.  Water is essential for life and the WHO considers it necessary (a right) for every human to have access to at least 50 liters.  Give that it is a human right to have water, what role should governments versus private companies have in providing this right?  How much should it cost?  Should it be subsidized?   Take a look at three examples of privatization cases from the Philippines, Bolivia and Gabon.
