A little distance

I have been visiting family back in Mass after almost seven months of travelling.  I enjoy learning about other cultures, getting to understand different ways to approach things, and helping to create more resilient communities through better planning; however, after being home for a bit I have realized that I really miss gardening, walking to my aunt’s house, eating family meals and taking my dog on walks.  Life at home is easy and relaxing.  I have been spending a lof of my free time dehydrating tomatoes and kale.  The tomatoes have been a huge hit.  I have a few more days left until I am off to Manila to check out some of the flooding that has occurred.  Since I am young, I am willing to sacrifice family time with travelling and preparing for better disaster prevention.
